Maria has over a decade of fundraising and non-profit experience and is the founder of Further Together consulting. She is regularly asked to advise on issues related to innovative stewardship, building relationships, and Community-Centric Fundraising as well as issues related to poverty. Maria was a finalist for the national 2022 Charity Village Best Individual Fundraiser Award, and has a deep passion for non-profit work. Maria is based in Toronto, Canada and is a regular fundraising collaborator with SVA. 

Darcy Wuerdeman

Darcy Wuerdeman is a graphic designer and illustrator creating beautiful and memorable brand identities.  SVA is grateful to collaborate with her to beautify our mission-centered communications services.  Darcy also owns Wicked Feline an online shop for accessible, wearable, and sustainable art. Darcy loves illustration and design and takes joy from watching a concept or idea come to life. She is based in Birmingham, AL, USA.

Jendayi Jedi Berry works at the cross-sections of art, storytelling, activism and innovation. Jedi looks for cool ways to present paradigm shifts and express topics such as love, excellence, social justice, nature and Minneapolis, USA, his hometown.  With SVA, Jendayi’s live illustrations bring powerful beauty to strategic teamwork. Mary Frances Wheeler is a transformational change leader and practitioner deeply experienced in diversity, equity inclusion and systems change. She engages with highly matrixed, cross-culture, cross-sector entities including healthcare, affordable and public housing, community development and government. Mary Frances is passionate about economic and health disparities. To SVA, she lends her skills in community and employee engagement, policy, and practice to improve economic and health prosperity of historically marginalized communities.

Nora Makky brings her past experience as an attorney to her work in the nonprofit sector, where her skills of detail-orientation, quick learning and strong interpersonal communication have made her a leader who understands the intersections of institutional giving, finance and compliance. With SVA, Nora has supported clients' relationships with funder institutions by writing grants, reports, letters of interest and supporting prospecting efforts.  She is based in the Twin Cities, USA.

Rashida Jackson offers 20+ years of practice in the human service and supportive housing sector. Rashida brings profound understanding and strategic insight to the development and operations of supportive housing. She executes her work through the dual lenses of social and human service and human-centered housing operations.  Rashida has been a trusted leader and consultant with many supportive housing organizations in the Twin Cities, USA region and collaborates with SVA on program-related strategy and analysis.
